Ag Science Teacher/FFA Sponsor

Sudan High School is currently searching for a professional teacher for the position of Ag Science and FFA Sponsor. Valid Texas Certification is required in the appropriate field or in a preparatory program along with a bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of assigned curriculum and instruction along with management of students is required. Strong organizational/communication/interpersonal skills are needed for this position. Responsibilities will include the planning and delivery of lessons, applying appropriate instructional strategies, using and teaching the use of tools and technology as it applies to the teaching assignment, working cooperatively with all school programs and staff, being a positive role model for students, establishing and maintaining a professional relationship and open communication with parents/boosters/colleagues/community members, and supporting the mission of the school district.
